Developers are moving ahead with plans for a new business park in South Fort Worth.

In March Dallas developer Jackson-Shaw said it purchased 170 acres at Altamesa Boulevard and Campus Drive for its new 46 Ranch Logistics Park.

The project near Interstate 20 is planned to eventually include more than 2 million square feet of industrial space.

The developer has filed permits to construct the first three buildings in the project with more than 560,000 square feet.

The total project is valued at more than $15 million, according to filings with the state.

Stream Realty Partners is leasing the project, which should have the first buildings ready in early 2021.

46 Ranch Logistics Park is one of several new industrial campuses on the way in southern Fort Worth.

Bandera Ventures is working on plans for a two-building industrial project on Everman Parkway near Interstate 35W.

And Ascendant Commercial is building an 850,000-square-foot distribution center in the same area.

North Texas is the country’s busiest industrial building market with more than 24 million square feet of construction underway.
