The secret is out: Nashville is nothing short of magnetic as an entrepreneurial and creative center.

While the region’s star has certainly been on the rise in recent years, Music City has long attracted doers and dreamers looking to build something new — together.

From our unmatched music industry to healthcare leadership, pioneering development climate to world-class artistry, Nashville continues to seize the nation’s attention with its multidimensional, innovative excellence.

As entrepreneurs and chairs of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center’s 2021 NEXT Awards, we have together and individually spent decades building our own businesses and championing others on similar, yet distinct, journeys.

We come from vastly different professional backgrounds – from health care billing and women’s business leadership to urban real estate sales and development. Yet as founders, owners and now advocates for the next generation of entrepreneurs, we share so much.

We are privileged to host this year’s NEXT Awards, recognizing entrepreneurs on their way to becoming the city’s next generation of business leaders. These creative leaders — and their collective, relentless pursuit of their visions -- have helped make Nashville the luminous business center it is today.
