Summers Doubts U.S. Inflation Will Slow to 2% This Year

Former Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers says he remains concerned that policy makers are complacent about inflation and he doubts U.S. inflation will return to the near 2% range by the end of this year. "We've got an economy that's looking like it's above the speed limit and it's going to have to slow down. And the Fed's got a very delicate operation now in slowing it down," Summers said on Bloomberg Television's "Wall Street Week."
