It seems backward, but if you can't disappear into a new character, you won't get too far in Hollywood.Abigail Breslin delivered an incredible performance as Olive in the indie film 'Little Miss Sunshine' back in 2006 which rocketed her to pop culture iconhood and earned her an Oscar nomination at the age of nine. But she recently opened up about how it's affecting people's perceptions of her. Speaking with the UK's iNews, she explained, "Sometimes people forget that I'm 25 years old and not 9 anymore." Still, though, she said, "I would never want to distance myself from it. It opened so many doors for me and gave me so many opportunities and is the reason why I'm where I'm at today."Where she is today is also co-starring with Matt Damon in 'Stillwater,' so it's not like her early success has ruined her career. "I don't want to disrespect it," Breslin continued. "It's sweet in a way because I think people felt so emotionally attached to that role and to that film. They want me to be Olive.
