"Avengers: Endgame" is finally here.

The epic grand finale of the Marvel Cinematic Universe chapter was officially unveiled at the world premiere Monday night at the Los Angeles Coliseum. As the lights went up, the thundering ovation started and the entire cast gathered under the screen to take a bow in front of an audience of fans including Matt Damon and Kevin Hart.

"I cried like six times," Chris Evans (Captain America) told the audience.

“I cried, I think more than 6 times,” added Chris Hemsworth (Thor).

While the full movie reviews will come in Tuesday, the first social media reactions from Monday's premiere were effusively positive.

Yahoo Entertainment senior correspondent Kevin Polowy said "Endgame" perfectly wrapped up the Marvel chapter which began with 2008's "Iron Man."

"Wow #AvengersEndgame is one for the ages," tweeted Polowy. "Breath fully taken. It’s like 8 hours long but doesn’t feel a minute over 2, there’s like a surprise a minute (cameos! Throwbacks! Haircuts!)."

Eric Davis, managing editor of ticket site Fandango.com, called the film a "masterful epic."

"A true culmination of 22 films that not only concludes the story, but expands upon it," tweeted Davis. "And wow, what an ending!"

Eric Eisenberg‏, Cinemablend film editor, tweeted that he was "absolutely floored" watching "Endgame."

"This can't be understated: #AvengersEndgame is everything you want it to be and more," he wrote. "A perfect reflection on the last 11 years that pays off everything in the best way possible. Without question my new favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe film. Stunned."

Angie Han, deputy entertainment editor for Mashable.com, called the film "an immensely satisfying payoff, not just to 'Infinity War' but to all the films that came before."

Peter Sciretta,‏ editor of Slashfilm.com, asked fans to imagine the best possible version of "Avengers: Endgame."

"Somehow the film still surpasses all expectation," he tweeted. "I cried 5-6 times. It’s the most emotional, the most epic MCU film. A tribute to ten years of this universe."

Steven Weintraub, editor of Collider.com, called "Endgame" an "epic conclusion."

"Don't know how any @MarvelStudios fan walks out of #AvengersEndgame disappointed," he wrote.

"Incredible ingenuity and commitment," tweeted Matt Donnelly, of Variety.com. "Marvel and Disney can and should be proud of this moment. #AvengersEndgame."

"I just can’t remember a cinematic experience like the one I just had with #AvengersEndgame. Simply blown away," tweeted Brandon Davis of Comicbook.com. "I feel like that movie was made for every Marvel fan, everywhere."

Davis continued in another tweet: "I laughed so loud, I clapped with so much force, and I cried so hard. The movie exceeds every expectation and is the perfect culmination of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe."

Scott Mendelson, senior film contributor for Forbes.com, was not as floored as many at the premiere.

"So, #AvengersEndgame hits the required beats, with plenty of fan service (most of it earned) and plenty of wit," he tweeted. "It doesn't make a ton of sense (and the action is a comedown) but it's unquestionably fun."

Perri Nemiroff‏ of Collider.com was also mixed in her praise.

#AvengersEndgame is A LOT. Too much at times," she wrote. "But wow the payoff is huge."
