Thursday marks a big day in music as the iHeartRadio Music Awards makes its sixth annual return. The show will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The star-studded affair aims to honor the most popular names and songs in music. With the ceremony underway, here's everything there is to know about what can be expected as the night unfolds:

When and How to Stream the iHeartRadio Awards

The iHeartRadio Awards airs Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. For those who don't have a standard television to view the ceremony on, there are a few different ways to watch it.

  • Fox.com. Viewers can watch the ceremony via live stream through Fox's website with valid login credentials.
  • FOX NOW App. Viewers can tune in live by using the FOX NOW app. This is accessible via the Apple Store (for iPhone and iPad), Chromecast, Amazon FireTV and Roku.
  • iHeartMedia Radio Stations. The annual event will air live on iHeartMedia radio stations country-wide. It will also air on the iHeartRadio service as well.
  • Online Streaming Services. Websites like Hulu, YouTube and Sling offer live TV services that can be accessed through its respective membership plans. Hulu Live TV, for example, offers a free trial to members before the first billing period begins.

When and How to Watch the iHeartRadio Awards Red Carpet Show

The red carpet is often the most anticipated part of any awards show. With stars like Ariana Grande and Halsey in attendance, viewers aren't going to want to miss the opportunity to see today's biggest music stars hit the red carpet live.

The iHeartRadio Awards's red carpet show can be streamed live on iHeartRadio's official Facebook page. Elvis Duran, Maxwell, Medha Gandhi, Nick Tangorra, Danielle Monaro and Ellie Lee will host the red carpet show.

Who is Hosting the iHeartRadio Awards?

T-Pain, a rapper best known for songs like "Buy U a Drank" and "I'm Sprung," is set to host the sixth annual ceremony on Thursday. He joins Hailey Baldwin, Ryan Seacrest, DJ Khaled and Jamie Foxx in a small club of high-profile names that have hosted the event. 

Who is Performing at the iHeartRadio Awards?

The iHeartRadio Awards recruited the best of the best to perform live during Thursday's event. Ariana Grande, Kacey Musgraves, Halsey, Alica Keys, Backstreet Boys, Ella Mai, John Legend, lovelytheband, Marshmello, Lauv and Garth Brooks will hit the stage to give a live performance.

Who are the iHeartRadio Awards Nominees?

The odds appear to be in Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B's favor Thursday as she heads into the 2019 iHeartRadio Awards with 14 nominations. The "Money" artist earned more nods than any other nominated artist.

Ariana Grande, Post Malone, Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons, Shawn Mendes and Drake have all scored several nods this year as well. Thursday's most-coveted and competitive category is the Song of the Year award. Zedd/Maren Morris/Grey, Maroon 5 with Cardi B, Post Malone, Ed Sheeran and Drake could walk away with the night's top prize.
