Breaking Benjamin among artists inducted to Central Pa. Music Hall of Fame at this year’s award show
The fourth annual Central Pennsylvania Music Awards & Hall of Fame induction ceremony was held tonight in Hershey, honoring artists from across the region.
The event was held at the Hershey Theatre, with a red carpet event for honorees and nominees beginning at 5 p.m.
This year’s Hall of Fame inductees included Breaking Benjamin, The Buoys, The Legends, The Maxwell Project, The Quintones, and Steve Rudolph.
In previous years, artists such as the rock group Poison were selected to join the Hall of Fame. Poison frontman and former Mechanicsburg native Bret Michaels appeared at a special event to accept his personal induction in 2022, in addition to his induction as member of the band.
The nonprofit organization was founded in 2019 to support and recognize the local music scene, as well as honor recording artists native to our region. The annual award show highlights artists in a variety of categories, with awards being presented to those deemed to be exemplary in their respective fields.
