The owner of a legendary music hall in Alexandria has passed away.
Gary Oelze, the founder and owner of the Birchmere, has passed away. He was 80.
The music venue has been popular for decades, welcoming many famous artists and guests.
The list includes, Vince Gill, Johnny Cash and Ray Charles even played his last concert there.
Former President Bill Clinton even attended shows at the Birchmere.

Just last year, the venue was recognized by the Virginia senate for contributing to cultural life in northern Virginia.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
