Kenny Loggins’ remarkable four-decade-plus career has brought him from the top of the charts to the toast of the Grammys.

Loggins had a successful career as a duo with Jim Messina before striking out on his own with the 1977 platinum album, “Celebrate Me Home.”

In the 1980s, Loggins became the “King of the Movie Soundtrack” with unforgettable hits from "Caddyshack" (“I’m Alright”), "Footloose" (“Footloose”) and "Top Gun" (“Danger Zone”).

His humanitarian work spans decades, including the USA for Africa charity single “We Are the World” in 1985.

In 2016, he was a recipient of the ASCAP Harry Chapin Humanitarian Award at the annual Chapin Awards hosted by WhyHunger. Later that year, the Guild of Music Supervisors honored him with the organization’s first-ever Icon Award for his outstanding achievements in film, television, and soundtracks.

Loggins was also honored with a Humanitarian of the Year Award from Little Kids Rock for his extensive commitment to children’s causes in 2016.

He has earned 12 platinum albums and a pair of Grammys as he continues to tour and in June his autobiography, “Still Alright,” will be released from Hachette Books.
