New Upstate NY concerts: Jackson Browne, Rick Springfield, Norah Jones, more

Some new concerts have been announced in Upstate New York.

Jackson Browne will perform at CMAC (Constellation Brands - Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center) on Saturday, July 16. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., music starts at 8.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 18 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.

“Jessie’s Girl” singer Rick Springfield will play the Seneca Allegany Event Center in Salamanca on June 25 and the Turning Stone Event Center in Verona on June 24. Both shows start at 8 p.m.

Tickets for Seneca Allegany go on sale Friday, March 18 at noon through Ticketmaster. Tickets for the Turning Stone performance go on sale March 25 at 10 a.m.

It will be Springfield’s first performances in Upstate New York since the 2019 New York State Fair. Springfield, also known for his work as an actor, made national news in 2015 when he was sued by a Liverpool woman who claimed he injured her with his butt when he fell on her at a previous NYS Fair concert; a jury ruled in Springfield’s favor in Syracuse court.

Norah Jones has added shows at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts and SPAC (Saratoga Springs Performing Arts Center) on July 30 and Aug. 1. Regina Spektor will open both dates.

Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster.

Jones will also come through the area with her alternative country group, Puss N Boots, for a March 22 performance at Lark Hall in Albany and April 21 at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock.

Alanis Morissette is extending her 25th anniversary celebration of “Jagged Little Pill” with a show at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on July 19. Garbage will open the concert at 7 p.m.

Tickets for Alanis are on sale through Ticketmaster, starting at $34.
