After canceling their annual festival in 2021, Noise Pop returns for a week long takeover of San Francisco's favorite music venues.

Now in its 29th year, events will take place throughout the city, starting off with a pre-party with British jazz musician Kamaal Williams on February 17 at the California Academy of Sciences. The festivities then begin in earnest with four shows on February 1, most notably Jeff Tweedy at the Fillmore.

Other standouts include two sets from Phil Elverum's cult folk project The Microphones at Swedish American Hall, indie darling Alex G at August Hall, Frank Ocean collaborator Vegyn at Gray Area, pop iconoclast Dorian Electra at August Hall, "Disintegration Loops" auteur William Basinski at Gray Area and controversial rapper Azealia Banks at the Warfield. Titus Andronicus and The Drums will each revisit their most popular albums, playing "The Monitor" and "Portamento" in full.

There's also a long list of local acts who will be performing, including party rockers Buzzed Lightbeer, eclectic multi-instrumentalist Damani Rhodes and electronic producers like Space Ghost and Chrissy,

Tickets are on sale for individual concerts, as well as badges that will allow entry into every show. The general admission badge is priced at $199 (you'll need to arrive at each show within 60 minutes of opening), whereas a $399 SuperFan badge allows for unrestricted access and other perks.
