Shots were fired during a video shoot involving Kanye and controversial rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine in Beverley Hills last night (November 8), TMZ and The Blast report. Nicki Minaj had been scheduled to arrive on set later that night. Nobody was injured. Police arrived after receiving a report that several shots had been fired in an apparent drive-by at around 10:25 p.m., according to TMZ. Kanye reportedly left the scene immediately.

The motive for the shooting is unknown. Earlier this year, shots were fired when 6ix9ine was filming a video with 50 Cent. Pitchfork has emailed local police and the artists’ representatives for further information.

In August, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office recommended that 6ix9ine be sentenced to 1-3 years in state prison over crimes committed after he pleaded guilty to the use of a child in a sexual performance. Prosecutors also advised that the rapper register as a sex offender. In October, he avoided prison time and received four years of probation and 1,000 hours of community service. He was not required to register as a sex offender.
