The summer concert season is heating up in Central New York.

Tedeschi Trucks Band announced “Fireside LIVE,” a series of three socially distanced concerts at the new Apple Valley Park in LaFayette, N.Y., on July 9, 10, and 11. Band leaders Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi will perform with varying members of TTB each night with the total band configuration ranging between four and seven musicians; the modified lineup will be known as “Tedeschi Trucks” due to band members unable to join the tour due to challenges from the coronavirus pandemic.

“We’re really looking forward to getting on the road and seeing everybody’s beautiful faces,” Tedeschi said in a statement. “Getting together earlier this year to record the Fireside Sessions was really re-energizing, and we are excited to play live in front of fans again. As much as we love performing as the full Tedeschi Trucks Band, current conditions just don’t allow for us to do that.”

Tickets will go on sale Friday, April 23 at 10 a.m. ET through applevalleypark.com and will be sold in two, four or six-person PODS (Personal Outdoor Dance Space) starting at $185. Covid-19 restrictions at the venue on the LaFayette Apple Festival grounds include social distancing; masks required upon entry, exit, and any time traveling outside of your designated PODS; temperature checks; and hand sanitizing stations.

Other CNY concerts include Warrant celebrating its 30th anniversary of “Cherry Pie” with a June 19 show at Sharkey’s Bar & Grill in Liverpool. Tickets for the show, rescheduled from last summer, are on sale at syracusetix.com starting at $25.

Aaron Lewis of Staind will perform at Sharkey’s on May 28, he announced last week. Tickets for the reduced capacity event are already sold out.
