The Roots & Reach of Systemic Racism

Racial disparities have persisted across Louisville's systems for generations, making it more difficult for Black residents to own a home, graduate from college and earn a high-paying salary. In this virtual panel, we'll discuss the policies and practices that created the disparities and what it will take to eliminate them once and for all. Have a question for one of our panelists? Email reporter Bailey Loosemore at bloosemore@courier-journal.com. Panelists include: ►T Gonzales, director of the Center for Health Equity, in the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness ►Ricky Jones, chair of the Pan-African Studies Department at the University of Louisville ►Tracy K'Meyer, history professor at the University of Louisville
