Travis Scott's London Concert Merchandise Reaches Over $1M In Sales Within A Few Hours

Londoners Show Out For Travis Scott

Recently, for the rapper’s stop in London, he sold out the O2 Arena. Due to popular demand, he added a second night to perform. During night one and night two, it appears that concert attendees were hype for more than just seeing him live. In a matter of just a few hours, Scott’s merch sold over $1 million, according to TMZ.

Before the show started, his fan base arrived early to snag the new series of clothing. Per the outlet, hoodies ranged from $100 to $125, shirts $45 to $75, and hats for $45.

The fan base being eager to cop whatever his name is attached to is nothing new for Scott. As previously reported by AfroTech, his sneakers with NikeTravis Scott Air Max 1 Wheat — received over a million entries within the first 30 minutes. In addition to the Nike release, his Cactus Jack apparel went up for sale.

A partial amount of the sales went to support Scott’s Project Heal, which launched in March. The project came after the Astroworld festival tragedy. 

“Giving back and creating opportunities for the youth is something I’ve always done and will continue to do as long as I have the chance,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “This program will be a catalyst to real change and I can’t wait to introduce the rest of the technology and ideas we’ve been working on.”

Project Heal features four initiatives: the Waymon Webster Scholarship Fund, the Expansion of CACT.US Youth Design Center, Mental Health Resources, and lastly, Stakeholder and Tech-Driven Solutions for Event Safety.

Within his efforts, the Houston native awarded 100 students $10,000 each in scholarships to help fund their college education.

“In conjunction with the Cactus Jack Foundation, Project HEAL unites initiatives ranging from academic scholarships, free mental health resources, a creative design center and a first-ever, tech-driven solution for event safety,” read the organization’s website. “These efforts, independently and collectively, aim to solve challenges and overcome issues impacting the youth community.”
