180 Million-Year-Old ‘Sea Dragon’ Skeletal Remains Dug Up In ‘Unprecedented Discovery’

A team of scientists at the Rutland Water Nature Reserve dug up the fossilized skeleton of a giant ichthyosaur, otherwise known as a “sea dragon” from the Jurassic period. The 180 million year old remains were 10 meters long with a skull weighing over 2,000 pounds.
