2 people injured in shooting at Randolph entertainment complex

Randolph police are investigating a shooting that happened at an entertainment venue in the Massachusetts city on Monday.
Police Chief Anthony Marag said officers responded to the area of 44 Mazzeo Drive at about 8 p.m. for a report of a shooting. The Mazzeo Drive address is the listed address for Mojitos Country Club, a Latin-themed entertainment complex.
Sign up for our NewslettersTwo people were transported to a Boston-area hospital from the shooting scene, according to Marag. There has been no update on the severity of those people's conditions.
Social media posts by Mojitos Country Club indicate that the venue was hosting a Fourth of July pool party from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., which was open to both adults and children.
Marag said there is no active threat to the community. No arrests have been made, and there is no word on any potential suspects.
The immediate area surrounding Mojitos Country Club has been closed to traffic and residents should expect to see a significant police presence while the investigation is ongoing.
