22-year-old Norfolk man arrested in triple shooting

Norfolk police are investigating a triple shooting in which two men were killed Thursday night on W. Little Creek Road.

Around 4:45 p.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to the 7-Eleven located at 774 W. Little Creek Road for the report of a gunshot victim, according to a news release.

When officers arrived on scene, they located Jamal Harvey, 19, of Chesapeake, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dispatchers notified officers a short time later that two other men had arrived at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds sustained during the shooting.

One of the men, 22-year-old Keyon Johnson of Norfolk, later died at the hospital from his life-threatening injuries.

The third victim, a 23-year-old man, sustained injuries, but is expected to recover.

Police have arrested Robert Vick, 22, of Norfolk and charged him with two counts of second-degree murder, one count of malicious wounding, three counts of use of a firearm and one count of gang participation.

Vick is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond, police said.

Detectives have not released the motive or circumstances surrounding the incident.
