Police say an officer in the area heard several shots fired, which were also detected by the city's ShotSpotter system. The victims, described by police as "four males," were all brought to North Memorial Health hospital for treatment. One of the victims was in critical condition. No arrests have been made.

The shooting came just hours after local leaders announced a new plan to crack down on crime in the city.
