4-year-old girl killed in crash in Livingston County
(WWJ) A car crash in Livingston County has claimed a little girl's life.
The Livingston County Sheriff's Office said her father, 36, of Fayetteville, North Carolina was driving an SUV on northbound U.S. 23 near M-59 in the Howell area.
He lost control of his car and struck several trees, according to the Sheriff. His daughter, 4, was ejected from the vehicle. She was killed at the scene.
The driver's son, 8, and his wife, 33, are hospitalized at University of Michigan Hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
The Livingston County Sheriff said speed and alcohol appear to be a factor in the crash.
Michigan State Police are assisting in the crash investigation.
