Allentown police respond to Fourth Street incident
Allentown police responded Monday night to an incident, taping off an alley where they put down evidence markers.
Multiple police vehicles arrived shortly after 11 p.m. in the 400 block of Fourth Street, near Gordon Street.
Officers taped off an alley wide enough for only one vehicle and placed several yellow evidence markers near each other on the ground in the alley as neighbors and passersby watched.
Neighbors said they were in their homes when they heard “pop-pop” sounds and later saw police arrive. Some neighbors said they saw an ambulance take someone away, but that they didn’t know who it was.
Police released no details about what the incident was or whether anyone was injured.
