A man and his daughter were killed during a shootout with San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies Tuesday morning.

Deputies confirmed it was Anthony Graziano, the father of the 15-year-old girl at the center of Monday's AMBER Alert.

During a press conference Tuesday afternoon, the sheriff's office says both died following a pursuit and firefight with deputies.

This comes after CHP issued an AMBER Alert Monday afternoon for Savannah Graziano who was taken by her father, Anthony Graziano, Monday morning around 7:30 in Fontana in San Bernardino.

They said he should be considered armed and dangerous because he shot Savannah's mother multiple times. She was taken to the hospital where she later died.

Then on Tuesday, CHP deactivated the alert without providing any details.

About that same time, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office tweeted about heavy police activity in Victorville.
