Baby from Duxbury, Massachusetts, dies days after mother allegedly killed his siblings

A third child from Duxbury, Massachusetts, has died days after his mother allegedly killed his two older siblings, officials have confirmed.

Callan Clancy, an 8-month-old boy, was taken to a Boston hospital to be treated for injuries earlier this week but died Friday morning, officials said.

His siblings, 3-year-old Dawson Clancy and 5-year-old Cora Clancy, were found unconscious earlier this week and later pronounced dead.

Their mother, Lindsay Clancy, 32, was taken to a hospital and will face homicide charges in the case. She will also face three counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon, according to sister station WCVB.

Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz said it appears the children were strangled, but the medical examiner will ultimately determine the manner and means of their deaths.

Prosecutors would not say whether mental health issues played a role, but said they are looking at everything in their investigation.
