Cherokee County man with dementia reported missing

A Cherokee County man suffering from dementia has been reported missing.

Police say Ron Kissel, 76, left his home on Cotton Creek Drive in Macedonia on foot, but a truck parked nearby is also missing.

Investigators are not sure if Kissel took the truck, but say it is a possibility. The white Chevrolet truck with Georgia tag BXG7486 was spotted on a Gwinnett County traffic camera around 3:30 p.m.

Kissel is 5′10″ and walks with a limp. He was last seen wearing a white and brown button-down shirt.

Anyone who sees Kissel or his truck should call 911.
