DNA analysis confirms human remains are of missing Savannah woman
The Savannah Police Dept. (SPD) said Thursday that a DNA analysis has determined that human remains found off New Hampstead Parkway in March are those of 24-year-old Melanie Steele.

Police said Steele was originally reported missing in September 2019.
