Driver of red Camaro sought in fatal hit-and-run in Rosedale

Baltimore County police are searching for the driver of a car that struck and killed a pedestrian Friday night in Rosedale before fleeing.

Police said a red 2011 Chevrolet Camaro struck a woman on eastbound Pulaski Highway near Rosedale Avenue and continued to flee east.

The woman, Angel Diamond Wingate, 20, was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where she died.

Police later found the car abandoned with significant front-end damage on Interstate 695 at Route 702. Police are seeking the public's help to identify and find the driver.

Police said they would also like to speak with the drivers or occupants of a white Ford Mustang and a red Ford Mustang that were in the area of the crash at the time it occurred and may have witnessed the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers at 866-7LOCKUP.
