EU Chief: Blocking Grain Exports In Ukraine Is 'A Real War Crime'
European Union Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell emphasized on Monday that blocking grain in Ukraine is "a real war crime" as it is leaving people in other countries "suffering" from hunger. "You cannot use the hunger of the people as a war arm" Borrell added as he stated that Russia would be "accountable" for these actions. EU diplomats have gathered in Luxembourg for talks focused on Ukraine and food security.
