Flames engulf Dana Point home
Flames fully engulfed a home in Dana Point on Wednesday, May 11, but no injuries were immediately reported.
Callers reported flames on the roof and in the garage of a house on the 34000 block of Calle La Primavera at about 10:40 a.m., Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Sean Doran said. Firefighters saw plumes of smoke coming from the home as they rushed over from a nearby station.
No other structures appeared to be threatened as of 11:30 a.m., Doran said, as several crews battled the blaze. The cause was not immediately known.
