Former Dodge County attorney pleads guilty to civil rights violation
The United States Attorney's office said a former Dodge County attorney pleaded guilty to criminal information.
Investigators said 47-year-old Oliver J. Glass of Fremont admitted to the violation of an unnamed victim's constitutional rights in the plea agreement — specifically the rights against unreasonable search and seizure.

They said the unnamed victim was a man Glass's ex-wife was dating — she'd filed for divorce from Glass in 2020.
Law enforcement said Glass unlawfully conspired with several people to stop or arrest the victim, and another officer used his credentials to get information about the man that wasn't publicly available.
Investigators also said members of law enforcement would drive by the victim's house looking for him without legal justification.
He was charged with conspiracy to commit deprivation of rights under color of law — he faces up to a year in prison, $100,000 fine or both.
A district judge set his sentencing for Feb. 17, 2023.
