Pawnee Elementary principal Beth Holland said in a statement in Dec. 2021, "Carlos Ornelas-Ramirez is no longer an employee of our district and had been placed on leave immediately after our district learned of the allegations. He was employed between Oct. 6 and Dec. 16, 2021."
Ramirez is scheduled to be sentenced on May 16.
