A house fire northeast of Hot Springs claimed the lives of four people Friday, including two children ages 4 and 2, Arkansas State Police reported.

The blaze at 118 Echols Drive broke out around 10 a.m. and drew a response from Morning Starr, Lake Hamilton, and Fountain Lake firefighters.

Once they were able to enter the home, they found the bodies of Kayle Arriaga, 29, her 4 and 2-year-old children Mattie and Wesley Cummins, and Kenneth Ingram, 31.

The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division along with the department's Fire Marshal will determine the origin and cause of the fire.
