Gunman who allegedly ambushed, shot cops was Facebook friends with one

The man accused of placing a fake 911 call to ambush and kill two police officers Wednesday was Facebook friends with one of them. Nicholas Brutcher (pictured, left), who allegedly fired on the officers before being killed in the ensuing shootout, was Facebook friends with one of the deceased officers, Alex Hamzy (pictured, right), who apparently went by Alex Yzmah on the social networking platform.
