Brown said on July 10, deputies and detectives were called to the Cedarbrook Residential in Nebo.

They said a female resident had been taken to the hospital with severe head injuries.

Brown said an investigation uncovered video evidence of the assault.

"This was a senseless and horrific assault. I am proud of Det. Brown and our team for their hard work in this matter," Sheriff Ricky Buchanan said.
