Man found dead in car in Boynton Beach was slain, sheriff’s office says

A man was found dead in a car in Boynton Beach, and his death is being investigated as a homicide, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday.

Deputies were called to the Reserve at Ashley Lake, an apartment complex located at 5217 Cedar Lake Road, where they found a man dead inside a car Saturday night.

The sheriff’s office said in a release Sunday it had no information on a suspect or a motive. No further details were provided as to the identity of the victim or why the death was believed to be a homicide.
