The investigation is ongoing. Police have not released any additional details.
Lennex leaves behind four children, his mother, Cindy Lennex, told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 on Friday.
"I want to know who did this to my son. I want them to pay," Cindy Lennex said. "I'm so angry right now, I can't even cry any more. I buried my mother a year ago today. His sister, my only other child, is gone as well. I need justice for my son."
Cindy Lennex asked anyone who has information about her son's death to call police.
