A Pennsylvania man stabbed a woman to death Monday after she came to his apartment to buy a refrigerator, according to police.

Cops said Joshua Gorgone, 26, killed Denise Williams, 54, during an argument over the price of the fridge in his Johnstown home, local NBC affiliate WJAC reported.

Investigators said Gorgone and Williams, who both lived in the city about 60 miles east of Pittsburgh, arranged the sale over Facebook Marketplace, according to WJAC, using Facebook’s Craigslist-like buying and selling platform.

Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer said Williams wanted to buy the fridge as a gift to her boyfriend, local CBS affiliate WTAJ reported. Cops found her dead Tuesday in Gorgone’s apartment from multiple stab wounds. They discovered several knives on the scene.

Gorgone was arrested about 12 hours after the killing and briefly tried to run away, according to the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat.

He was charged with criminal homicide and two felony accounts of aggravated assault, WTAJ reported. He’ll be held in Cambria County jail without bail until his first court date April 14.
