Man suffers potentially life-threatening injuries in stabbing, police say
A Massachusetts man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Cambridge that left the victim with potentially life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Cambridge police say the victim, a 47-year-old Cambridge man, was stabbed in the leg at about 11:30 p.m. Friday outside 820 Massachusetts Ave. -- which is the address for the Central House.
Sign up for our NewslettersThe victim was treated at the scene by police officers and medics with the Cambridge Fire Department and was then taken to an area hospital. There has been no update from police on his condition.
Police reported Saturday that they had arrested 54-year-old Jose DeLeon, of Cambridge, at his residence at the Central House without incident after conducting an investigation and speaking with witnesses. Officers were able to recover a knife, and DeLeon will be charged with assault to murder, according to authorities.
