PARAMUS, NJ — Law enforcement officials have confirmed that Morgan Panzer, the Bergen Community College student reported missing last week, has been found.

The Township of Nutley confirmed that she was found on Friday evening.

"Missing person Morgan Panzer has been located and is safe," the township said.

"Commissioner Petracco and Chief Strumolo would like to thank the public for all of their assistance."

NorthJersey.com reports that Bergen County Sheriff Anthony Cureton said the teen was found by Clifton police at the Wendy's on Main Avenue on Friday.

Her mother, Denise, took to Facebook to confirm that Panzer was back home with the family.

The Paramus police, along with other local departments, sought public assistance in locating her last week. Panzer, 19, of Nutley, was seen on Wednesday at 11 a.m. walking into a parking garage on the Paramus campus alone, police said.

Her father confirmed the disappearance on Facebook, stating that Panzer "possibly got in a car in the parking garage with an unknown person or persons."

He added that Panzer was last seen "wearing camouflage pants with a black hooded sweat jacket and Grey sneakers."

Bergen Community College Spokesperson Larry Hlavenka Jr. gave a statement to the Nutley TapInto site on behalf of the college on Thursday.

"Morgan, her family and friends remain in the thoughts of the Bergen community as we hope for her safe return home," he said.
