Multi-alarm house fire breaks out in Somerville's Teele Square
A home in Somerville, Massachusetts, was heavily damaged on the Fourth of July after a multi-alarm fire broke out in the city's Teele Square neighborhood.
Photos and videos taken by witnesses showed heavy flames and smoke coming from the house at 1241 Broadway, which is near the intersections of Russell Road and Farragut Avenue.
Sign up for our NewslettersThe Somerville Firefighters Local 76 union shared on Facebook that the fire called for a three-alarm response, as crews from Arlington, Cambridge, Medford and Boston responded to the scene to help knock down the blaze.
No injuries were reported by the union in connection with the fire. It is unclear how many people have been displaced.
The cause of the house fire is under investigation.
