Police are investigating after multiple people were assaulted by a man with a hatchet on Saturday night in Seattle.

Seattle police said a man assaulted the people at 8th Avenue and James Street.
Medics with the Seattle Fire Department said a 40-year-old man suffered minor injuries and was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
The suspect was taken into custody.
At one point, the incident had blocked all westbound lanes of James Street.
Officers investigating after a man assaulted multiple people with a hatchet at 8/James. Suspect is in custody. More information when available.
