NJ man arrested for threatening to decapitate police captain
PROSPECT PARK, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A New Jersey man was arrested on Tuesday for threatening to shoot and decapitate the captain of the Prospect Park Police Department, the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office announced Thursday.
Jante Bagh, 41, called the department Tuesday afternoon and said he intended to lure Captain Ammen Matari into a car stop, “pop one in his head” and chop it off.
Prosecutors charged Bagh with making terroristic threats and harassment.
He’s being held at Passaic County Jail.
