One dead, two injured in Sunday morning shooting

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A man is dead and two others, including a three-year-old child, were injured in an overnight shooting on Fellows Avenue.

It happened just after 1:00 a.m. Sunday. Toledo Police responded to a shots fired call in the 2700 block of Fellows Avenue near Lagrange Street and found three people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police said 40-year-old Dameus Rapp was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital where he later died.

33-year-old Heather Hirschfield and a three-year-old child were treated at the scene and taken to the hospital. Both suffered what police describe as non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, all three people who were shot live at the same home. TPD is continuing to investigate the incident as a homicide and has not made any arrests in this case.
