OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - A suspect in an armed robbery in Oshkosh has been taken into custody.

Oshkosh Police says Albert N. Smith, 20, was taken into custody and a vehicle he’s accused of stealing has been recovered. No other information was released.

Smith was identified as a suspect in the Sept. 22 robbery in the 800 block of N. Main Street.

Officers say a man approached a woman who was parked in her vehicle next to a business. The woman said the man pulled a gun and pointed it at her head.

“A physical struggle took place between them and the suspect struck the victim in the head with the gun. He then fled the area in the victim’s car,” police say.

Police listed Smith as “armed and dangerous.”

Police say Smith and the victim know each other.
