Stafford County deputies recovered pistols, fentanyl pills, marijuana and cash after a chase through North Stafford on June 22, according to the Office of Stafford County Sheriff.

At 10 a.m., Sgt. A.I. Assur pursued a white Kia sedan for a traffic violation when the suspect in a vehicle continued to drive. The suspect began driving up to 70 miles per hour.  At one point, the suspect threw a satchel out the window that included a handgun, cash and a bag of pills, according to Sgt. Assur. Eventually, the suspect left the vehicle and fled into a neighborhood.

Many deputies arrived at the neighborhood and established a perimeter, later finding one of the suspect's shoes. With the help of Deputy J.H. Truslow and K-9 Rip, they followed the track of the suspect's shoes and arrived at the 300 block of Wimbledon Court, where deputies believed the suspect lived.

The suspect exited the home and was identified as 24-year-old, Damion Lambert.
