A Pittsburgh police officer is on leave after an incident involving a feral cat.

Police say that officer placed a deceased cat on a fence behind a station, staging it to look like it was climbing.

The bureau says it's taking this incident very seriously and the officer in question will remain on leave while an internal investigation takes place.
