Pittsburgh police investigating after juvenile is shot in Knoxville
A juvenile male was taken to a hospital after a shooting in Pittsburgh's Knoxville neighborhood.
Allegheny County 911 said they sent police and EMS to the intersection of Grimes and Mathews Avenue just before 6:30 p.m.
Sign up for our NewslettersOfficers located a juvenile male with a gunshot wound to the hand. Medics transported him to the hospital in stable condition with significant trauma to the hand.
Our crew spotted multiple officers looking for clues at the intersection.
A witness reported he heard gunshots and people screaming when the incident started.
