Parscale, 44, did not threaten officers, was detained, and was transported to Broward Health Medical Center, according to police.

Parscale was digital media director for Trump's 2016 campaign and was named campaign manager of the reelection campaign in February 2018. He was replaced as campaign manager by Bill Stepien, another member of the team, in July, but stayed on as an adviser.

"Brad Parscale is a member of our family and we all love him. We are ready to support him and his family in any way possible," Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh said in a statement sent to WPLG Local 10.
