'PR Stunt': Meghan Markle's Uvalde Trip To Donate Blood Sparks Controversy
Meghan Markle's recent trip to Uvalde, Texas has sparked controversy on social media. On May 24, Uvalde faced a tragedy where Salvador Ramos, an 18-year-old, shot and killed 19 children and two educators inside Robb Elementary School. Ramos was also killed. The Duchess of Sussex went to the Texas town to pay tributes to the victims but was soon met with criticism, with some internet users calling it as a "PR stunt" as her visit was widely covered by major media outlets, but many praised her efforts.
