Richmond officials share how tip prevented July Fourth shooting
A tipster helped Richmond, Virginia, police prevent a planned mass shooting at a local July Fourth celebration. Richmond Police Chief Gerald Smith said the tip also led to the seizure of two assault rifles, a handgun and 223 rounds of ammunition.
