A Sergeant Bluff man has been charged with enticing a minor under 16 for a sexual purpose.

According to court documents, investigators with the FBI alerted SCPD that 39-year-old Andrew Heller,  of Sergeant Bluff,  was attempting to entice a minor, a 14-year-old female, into engaging in sexual activity.

The FBI had monitored communication in which Heller openly requested to have sex with the 14-year-old and was going to pay $200.

The task force also found alcoholic beverages meant to be shared with the minor, an unopened box of condoms, and over $200 in cash.

Documents say that during a post miranda interview, Heller admitted to knowing that the girl he was contacting was 14 years old.

Heller is charged with enticing a minor and prostitution. His first court appearance is scheduled for July 25th.

Court documents say Heller is an employee of Wynot Public Schools in Nebraska.
